I use a Ginger and lemon hottie drink as part of my juice cleanse. Both ginger and lemon have great health properties.
Whenever I drink ginger I end up feeling hot. It heats me up. I love it.
It may not have the same effect on you of course but I call this my hottie.
I make it when I am feeling cold.
I don’t drink it at any particular time of the day. For me this is an all day juice.
Ginger and Lemon Hottie Ingredients
If possible make sure all the ingredients are organic.
3 organic carrots
1 organic apple
Piece of fresh ginger. A little if you are not mad on the taste. A lot if you prefer it. Careful though… it burns 🙂
Half a lemon. Unwaxed lemon with skin on.
Put them through your juicer and enjoy.
You can add ice if you like it to be extra cold.
You can also use lime instead of lemon if you prefer.
I once added both lemon and lime and it was a little too much for me.
Benefits of Ginger
- A natural antibiotic.
- Ginger improves the absorption of nutrients in the body
- Wakes up a dull appetite
- Helps if you are feeling nauseous or have an upset stomach
- Helps out in the bedroom (research that one if you don’t believe me)
