There are many things we can grow but did you have any idea that you could grow your own fresh air?
Well until yesterday neither did I.
I am powering through my Detox Specialist Diploma Course and lesson 11 is all about the toxins in the air we breathe. To be honest going through the last few lessons has me really concerned about the amount of toxicity we encounter in our day-to-day life. From the pots and pans we use to the products we lavish over our skin, most of them are filled with toxins that interfere with the natural function of our body.
Add to that things like water and even air and you can imagine just how under attack our body is – it’s really scary stuff to be honest.
Anyway, yesterday I watched a video which is below. Its interesting stuff. Kamal Meattle, who is based in India has been using plants to improve the air in his office and we can do the same at home.
To grow your own fresh air at home (or in your own office environment) you need three main plants
Mother-in-law’s Tongue – best placed in the bedroom because it makes oxygen at night
Areca Palm for the living room and the Money Plant
These three plants will help to enhance the air in your home.
When you watch the video you will gain an idea of how many plants you will need based on the number of people who live in your house.
